Pão de queijo or Brazilian cheese bread is a small, baked cheese roll or cheese bun, a popular snack and breakfast food in Brazil. It is a traditional Brazilian recipe, made with gluten free cassava flour (tapioca flour), the ground root of the manioc plant. This is our main ingredient, and we add perfect amounts of mozzarella, asiago, eggs, milk, oil and salt. This simple blend comes together amazingly, to create the lightly crunchy on the outside, soft and chewy on the inside perfection that is our ToB Cheese Bread.
